My whole life I have been tall. When I was in elementary all the other kids had to look up to me. I heard comments such as “Wow, you are so tall!”, “How tall are you?” ,“Why are you so tall?” all of the time. So one day, my mom decided to sign me up for volleyball. I played my first year of club volleyball at 11 years-old and started playing beach volleyball at this young age as well. I fell in love with volleyball instantly. I improved dramatically with each club season. Playing beach volleyball every summer translated into great ball control and communication skills. I have had coaches and even referees ask me how I'm such a great passer at my height? I just tell them I grew up playing beach volleyball. Currently, I am a 6 feet tall, class of 2025, 6 rotation outside hitter with a 9’10” approach touch. I love the indoor game even more than beach volleyball and I have a desire to play in college. I have a talent for connecting with my teammates to bring out the best side of their competitiveness. I am a positive leader on the court, as well as in the classroom. I have a 3.5 GPA, and will be taking the ACT this spring. In college, I'm planning on majoring in business/communications and minoring in marketing. If your program is looking for an upbeat, distinctive, team player, who will get the job done. I am the one for you!
