I started club volleyball in 8th grade which fueled my love for the game and started my journey of this wonderful sport. I may have started playing volleyball because I was signed up for it but now I play it because I love the competitiveness, the bonds that are formed, the fulfillment of seeing hard work pay off, and how good I feel afterwards. During my years of playing volleyball, I have learned the value of teamwork, endurance, and patience. Skill takes time and effort to build, it doesn't just happen overnight. Every day is a chance to work harder and improve. I am a straight A student and am hoping to maintain my 4.0 GPA throughout high school, in college I would like to continue getting good grades and keep on pushing myself both academically and physically. Being the oldest in my family has presented me with challenges but has also allowed a lot of growth and improvement (including patience with my siblings). Since I am tall, thanks to my genes, I love to block and hit because of the satisfaction it brings to me and the energy it brings to my team when I get a block or kill. I am also a pretty decent passer and will jump at any opportunity I am given to pass. Thanks so much for reading this and be sure to check out the rest of my profile!
