Mariyah Young '24 Recruiting Profile

My name is Mariyah Young, and I am S/OH for the class of 2024. I have played club volleyball for 5 years, and I love it more every year. When I step into the gym, I am not only trying to make myself better but also my team. I am a well-rounded volleyball player being able to play any position on the front row and back row if necessary.

During my youthful volleyball career I’ve been trained by several of the greatest coaches in the Pacific Northwest. This has attributed to my current skill and talents. For the past three years, I’ve competed at many of the nations top volleyball tournaments. I have been selected for USAV's High Performance Program.

I am searching for the best blend of high level volleyball and academic excellence. I am an AP and Honors student.  I love to compete and also want to be academically challenged in science and/or math programs. I play, practice, and study at one speed - full speed.
