I have been playing volleyball since 6th grade, which is about 6 years now. I have been playing club volleyball for 3 years, going into my fourth. I have played for the same club all 3 years - Pacific Coast Volleyball Academy.
Volleyball has become a big and important part of my life. Just recently have I realized how much I would love to play college ball.
This sport has taught me many things. Such as commitment to a team which also taught me the value of working together. Volleyball has also taught me to work and strive for what I want. Being only 5'6", I have worked for my vertical and my form to be a great hitter.
My club has trained me in multiple positions. I started as an outside hitter, my primary position, and worked on opposite too. Then, when we lost a setter, I was trained and performed well at the Spokane Pacific Northwest Qualifier. I am a well rounded player and always strive for near perfection in everything I do.
This also comes with academics. I have been in most, if not all, honors (all since middle school) and AP (many since high school) classes. School has always been enjoyable for me and I love to learn about new things, especially in a sociological sense.
