Amanda Holm '19 Recruiting Profile

My goal after high school is to play volleyball at the collegiate level, while earning a degree in the healthcare field. I am an extremely hard worker and a versatile player. I love the game! I’m hungry to play at the next level. 

I’ve played club volleyball since the age of 10 and have been a member of my varsity high school team since my freshman year. I place schooling as a high priority, and strive to remain on the honor roll. I currently have a 3.5 grade point average and look to drive that number higher.

I am dedicated to volunteering my time to charities, church and my community! Every year I volunteer to help with my church’s Vacation Bible School.  I lead and teach young children the importance of core values, hard work and dedication. I have also coached for our community education volleyball program the last four years.  I have high ethical and moral standards, which are faith based; and strive for personal excellence in my day to day life. 

In my 2017/2018 high school season, I earned 1st team All-League award and an All-State Honorable Mention Award. I finished my junior year of high school, setting a new school record of 767 assists in a single season. On October 11, 2018, in my senior season; I hit the milestone of 1500 career assists! I finished my high school season setting both a new single season assists record and career assists record. I set the single season with over 850 assists, and just fell short of 2000 career assists at 1989 career assists. For my 2018-2019 high school season with 1st team all league, 1st team all region and 1st team all state honorable mention.
