In 7th grade I started playing volleyball for the first time. During my first practice I realized how fun it was. Instantly I fell in love with the fast paced, team centered, intense game. My eighth grade year I moved across the country and played at a new middle school. I was placed on the middle school JV team but I didn’t let that stop me with my pursuit to get better. I worked hard and played my first year of club. The next school year, starting high school, I was the only freshman to make JV at the high school level, surpassing my peers from the previous year. My sophomore year I was a starter for our Varsity team. For the 2019 season I was a team captain and starting libero for Timberline High School Varsity. Currently as a junior I am playing my fourth year of club and have played two years at the Varsity high school level. I am not only dedicated to volleyball but I am also focused on getting the best education I can. In the classroom I am focused and always ready to learn. My inspiration to play in college comes from both my love of learning and the best sport out there, volleyball.
