Hannah Yanez '18 Recruiting Profile

To coaches and recruiters, 

I have been playing volleyball since I was nine and since day one, I have always aimed for playing on a college level. I believe that I am a good candidate for your team in a few different ways. One of the main reasons is that I am a good leader. I started playing for my school for the first time this year and got voted captain, which I think shows my leadership skills and how I don't have to have prior relationships with other teammates to be able to fill that role. I also adapt well to any position you put me in. For club I usually play all around right side and for school, I played right front as I am a lefty,  but I have also been a middle hitter and a DS for left side as well. I'm an extremely hard worker and I am willing to be put in any position. 

  Academic wise, I am also a hard worker. I strive to be a great student and that will definitely shine a lot in college. I know that school comes before sports and that has been my motto my whole athletic career. I was awarded the academic award for my school volleyball season this year since I had kept a 3.5 GPA or higher during the season.
