Peyton Kim '27 Recruiting Profile

Hi coaches, i am a 5,9 all around outside who is ready to play any position when needed. I can reach 9’ 4.5” on my approach and continuously work to make it high at Max Sports Conitioning. I started playing when I was 10 at sudden impact, and had the great opportunity to play up on their 12’s team and i have had the ability to play up ever since. I have loved volleyball since the day I stepped onto the gym, and all the new friends I have made and the new interactions I get at each camp I attend. Volleyball has taught me so much about life and has given me a new family and a place of comfort. In the summer I try my best to play everyday, all day receiving as much time on the court possible. I also help coach younger girls during the summer, allowing me to pass my knowledge down to them and giving me the gift of enjoying the interactions I have with all of them. My goal for college is to continue my journey of volleyball allowing me to meet new people and continue learning about life not only about things on the court but off of it too. I hope to become a pediatrician and follow my dreams of helping people especially younger children. 

Whenever people are asked to describe me they would say I am easy-going, confident, competitive, smart, funny, and an extrovert. These traits of mine have not always been characteristics i have always had  but after  growing up with volleyball and having a supportive family has helped me become the athlete and person I am today.

I have always been top of my class since I was younger and have kept my grades to continuously be straight a’s. I work my hardest to prioritize my studies before anything else.
