I am a Senior in high school and have been on my school's varsity team for two years. My plan for college is to take classes in multiple subjects and hopefully find something I want to major in. I've been doing sports for as long as I can remember and was a three, sometimes four, sport athlete throughout middle school. I decided to focus on volleyball when I got to high school because I am most passionate about it and I love being part of a team. Participating in athletics helps make me a better student and person because it teaches me hard work and being there for others. It would be great if I could continue playing volleyball in college. Something that I think sets me apart from others is that I can be very hard on myself because I believe I can do better then what I am doing. In athletics, I set high standards for myself because I know I can always do better then what I am doing and I don't want to let my teammates or myself down. Academically, I try really hard because I want to get really good grades, but I know I have to study harder than some other students in order to achieve it. I would describe myself as someone who doesn't give up easily and wants to do the best they can.
