At a young age, I've always been into sports. One sport that has always stood out to me was volleyball. Growing up, watching fantastic volleyball athletes gave me inspiration and strength to start playing this sport. So, when I was twelve, I began playing volleyball. I soon fell in love with the sport even though I didn't know what position I wanted to play. My coach had faith in me to become a setter. She put so much time into training me to become the setter I'm striving to become. Having the opportunity to push me to become noticed by D1 coaches is a dream. Knowing that I have this chance, I can motivate myself to be better.
I am a hard worker. I push myself beyond my limits, not only for myself but for my team. I dedicate a lot of my time and energy to working on myself. As an athlete, I'm very flexible and easy to work with. I can adapt to certain conditions and new people. I try to push myself, but I make sure to push others. I love to lead my team in confidence. Having positive energy on the court, I think, is crucial. I like to help people grow and become better players on and off the court.
I don't only push myself athletically but also in school. In school, I have always strived to work hard. Having good grades and studying has always been a priority of mine. Every year of school that I enter, I make myself a new goal to reach. Going to a college that is not only athletically muscular but also academically strong is a dream of mine.
