I began playing sports from a very young age. Gymnastics was a sport I had loved as a child, but growing up I learned about volleyball. Now, my parents have to pull me off the court. My sophomore year on JV, was where I learned that every singe person on the team is important. Even if I sat the bench for a set, I was still involved in the game. Everyone has a role and that role is important. I wish to continue playing at a more competitive level to grow as a player. When I am not playing volleyball I try attending open gyms, camps, and going to the weight room to improve my skills as an individual.
Outside of volleyball, I show livestock. I mainly showed swine but have adventured to showing lambs and beef steers. I have been showing swine for five years now, and just finished my first year showing lambs. This will be my first year showing beef steers. I am actively involved with Valley Critter Sitters 4-H Club and Sunnyside FFA. I have been the Valley Critter Sitters 4-H Club secretary and the president for the past three years. I am actively the Sunnyside FFA´s historian. Showing livestock is what my siblings and I bond over. I am the oldest of five and lead as a role model. Many of my siblings look up to me as both a volleyball player and a showman for livestock.
