My name is Camryn Buell and I am a libero for the class of 2016. Volleyball has always been a passion of mine and has been a part of my life since I was 9 years old. In all of the years I have played volleyball, I have been lucky enough to play on some of the best teams in the Pacific Northwest and have competed in the GNJC three times. Having played at a high level of competition has inspired me to play in college.
In addition to playing libero on my club teams, I also played on the varsity team for my high school for three years. The last two years I was a starting outside hitter and played all the way around and this year, for the first time in our school history, we won the State Championship! Being an outside hitter, gave me more insight into the game and enabled me to become a more well-rounded player. What I love most about volleyball is the teamwork that is required to be successful, and the drive to push one another to play at our best. Leadership, communication, hard work, and determination are all traits that have shaped me and make me want to play on a cohesive, competitive team.
While volleyball is a passion, school is equally important to me. I know that my education is what is most important for my future. Because of this, I have always worked hard to get good grades and challenge myself with difficult classes. I am excited to continue that in college and graduate with a degree in nursing.
I want to play volleyball at the next level...As a player and teammate you can trust in my experience, dedication, and all-out attitude!
