2022 Highlights Personal Statement
I was first introduced to Volleyball in 6th grade and was immediately hooked. The pandemic was a very difficult time, not being able to play this sport, and it cemented the realization that for my mental and physical health, being active in Volleyball was life changing. I have been blessed to be a part of many school teams, along with club teams throughout the years as a utility player, and it has given me such perspective on work ethic, integrity, teamwork, commitment and perseverance. It has also helped me focus on my academics by giving me an outlet for stress which has helped me to excel. Every day, in practices and during games, I come to work and play hard, and I leave it all out on the court! I give Volleyball everything I have, because it has given me so much!
