Nevaeh Hernandez '24 Recruiting Profile

My goal is to play volleyball in college while earning my nursing degree. I couldn’t imagine not playing volleyball beyond high school as it is something I look forward to doing every day whether it be training in the workout room or on the court. I’ve been playing volleyball since 8^th grade, and previously ran track and competitive dance prior.

Volleyball became a passion for me because of the entire environment that surrounds it. It begins at the team level of being able to form bonds with my teammates on and off the court, supporting each other through tough games, and helping each other push to be our best.

By nature I am also extremely competitive. I like to compete with other teams, and compete with myself to do better and push harder every day. Putting in hard work is where the results come from.

In the future I would like to coach volleyball and help with training camps for younger kids as I'm passionate about helping and sharing any knowledge of the game I have with the future generation.

My love for volleyball is more than a passion for me, it's become a way of life.
