Ariana Miller '19 Recruiting Profile

Volleyball has been my passion since I began club in 5th grade.  Although volleyball is my love, I am also a committed and accomplished three-sport varsity athlete.  What I want you to know most about me is that I absolutely love competing.  I thrive on the 365 day a year commitment it takes to be an outstanding 3 sport athlete in volleyball, basketball and track.  Better yet, my love of competition also translates into classroom excellence, where I push myself to be the best I can be at all times. I am proud of my 4.0 grade point average; after all, my education is my most important goal.  One of the other things I am most proud of is that, since I began competing in sports, every coach I have played for has gone out of their way to tell me and my parents what a delight it was to have such a coachable player that cares for her team and has a deep love of competing.

So, what are my goals?  As a student-athlete, I want an academic and athletic program where my competitive drive is challenged both in the classroom and on the court and where I can be a leader and “spark plug” for my team.  I am not only confident that I can compete at a high collegiate-level, but I know I have the desire, heart, and “never say quit” attitude to succeed.  I know I will always be a positive teammate and I will always strive to complete to the best of my abilities for my team.  If you take a chance on me, I promise I will be the player that makes a dynamic impact on our team and your program!
