As a 5'8'', 6 rotation player, it sometimes can be hard to outplay others. I have had a passion for the game of volleyball my entire life. My older sister played it for years, and I would always tag along because I loved to watch the game. When I was about 7, I started playing on a small rec team, and when I was 10, I played on my first club team. I am extremely passionate about this game, and my main goal is to not only make myself better, but make my teammates better too. I take advantage of any opportunity I am given to try and better my game, and grow as a player. One of my main focuses while setting, is to help everyone around me, whether it is getting my hitters one-on-one's, getting a good dig or a good block, or getting excited every single point.
All my life, my mom and dad have done so much for me, pushed me to be a better person, and been my biggest role models. When I was 12, my mom passed away of stage four breast cancer. Losing her was hard, but it also made me a stronger and more independent person. All of my teammates look up to me as a leader, on and off the court, and I take what is given to me and work with it.
Not only am I looking for a school that will better me athletically, but academically too. Academics are very important to me, and I always make sure that I never forget that. When I graduate, I would truly love to become a vet because I have a huge heart for animals, and I love helping everyone.
