Valedia Hernandez '27 Recruiting Profile

Hi, my name is Valedia Hernandez and I am currently a sophomore at John Edwards in Port Edwards. I am a Defensive Specialist for our Varsity Volleyball team. I have been playing volleyball since I was in 6th grade and I have loved it ever since. I wish to play collegiate volleyball since I can't imagine my life without volleyball! I have a good receive and can put up hits well!  I have included highlights of me from this season and some other information you might need. At school, I have been our class president for the past two years and I carry that experience of being a leader onto the court as well, my strong suit in school is English class since I love to read, write, and learn. I am very goal-oriented and very hardworking on and off the court. On the court, I am a young leader who teaches the younger girls to try and push themselves with encouraging words. I am funny, smart, strong, and very kind. My backup position is either a right-side hitter or a setter!
