Personal Statement
Being awarded an honorable mention at the end of my sophomore year has been one of the highlights of my volleyball career. Winning this award, made me feel like the dedication and hard work paid off. Although, I want to strive for more. Everytime I go into practice I want to make myself better and work harder. I feel like ever since I was nine years old when I began playing volleyball, I have become a more confident, stronger, and smarter player. Being confident on the court has made a huge difference in my playing and only makes me better. Being strong as a player, both mentally and physically, has made me want to be driven and focused on doing my best and pushing myself to be better. Being a smart player is important to me because it helps me be able to read the court better and the players on the other team. Also, this helps me to know who to set and where I need to be on the court.
I believe that the right school for me would be something that has my major of education and a team that I can learn from. I believe that I have what it takes to be a collegiate athlete. If given the chance to be on any college team, I would be grateful and continue to strive to be the best player I can be.
