My name is Sam Krekel and I have loved volleyball since fourth grade. I went to a grade school where we had parent coaches that taught us the basics of the game that is until 8th grade. My family and I went to one of our high school varsity games and realized that if I wanted to even play for my future high school, I needed more training. That is when I started my club career and my 16’s year I was at the best club in Madison, Capital Volleyball Academy. I have trained with Olympian Cathy Noth in my free time and she also works with our club. I bring lots of knowledge about the game with creative ideas to out smart our opponents. I am a very outgoing, talkative, strong leader. I want what is best for my team and to see us accomplish things we never thought we could. I am very hardworking and thrive to push everyone around me to be the best that they can be. I also believe in a strong team community and believe in team bonding on and off the court. There is no time for drama on the team, only time to be family. I also have high academic goals because I want to double major in Psychology and Criminal Justice with a minor in Spanish. I believe that I can bring a future team the positive, mental, energy needed to have a fun and successful season.
