Jordan Hancock '27 Recruiting Profile

Hello, my name is Jordan Hancock. I am a 5’4”, 16 year old junior at Kickapoo High School in Viola, Wisconsin. I started out playing club volleyball in 6th grade and I am continuing to play club, alongside school volleyball. I started school volleyball in 7th grade and was pulled up to play and start on the 8th grade team. My freshman year I played JV, and my sophomore school season, I returned to JV. My 16u club season, I made the select elite team for Elevate Volleyball Club. Outside of school and club season, I am always working to improve my skills as an all-around player. I go to camps whether they are university camps or local camps, I participate in adult leagues and open gyms, I pay for private lessons with a coach at my club, and I do workouts on my own and with friends. My GPA was a 3.987 at the end of my freshman year; I finished 19th out of 44 that year. My GPA after the first semester of my sophomore year went down to a 3.957; I am 20th out of 44 this year. I want to play volleyball in college because I love the sport, and I do not know what I would do without it. It has helped my growth not only as an athlete, but as a friend, teammate, and person. I would also like to continue my studies. The plan since my 7th grade year has been to go to school to play volleyball and study psychology. Three words I work would describe myself as an athlete and a person overall would be coachable, likeable, and cheerful.
