Peyton Schmidt '23 Recruiting Profile

My goal is to play volleyball at a competitive college level after my high school career.  Volleyball is my personal passion and I work hard every day to further develop my skills, strengthen my body, and build upon my mental game.   I'm also a driven student with a desire to have a successful and impactful career as well and have a very high GPA with high academic honors.

What makes me different is my natural athletic ability and a 23.8" vertical as a sophomore outside hitter.  This ability has allowed me to become a strategic attacker and I'm able to get over, around, and past my blockers and defenders.  As a sophomore varsity player, I look forward to improving those skills and contributing at a high level to my team's success.  

I'm a leader, a team player, and I believe in bringing more to the court than just my physical skill.  My goal with any team I am on is to demonstrate a positive spirit, share my energy, and approach each day with a level of intensity that inspires those around me.
