I am Jamie Pfeifer, a 6’2” Middle Blocker from Wisconsin Dells High School in Wisconsin Dells, WI. I am looking for a college that I can further my education and play volleyball for at the highest level possible. Sports have been a huge part of my life and I would love to be able to continue to play volleyball for as long as possible. I am also planning to major in either Biology or Dietetics and Clinical Nutrition to become a Registered Dietitian.
Basketball has been my focus since 2nd grade. I played AAU basketball on a national team for 3 seasons, until my sophomore year in high school. After playing volleyball in junior high school, I wanted to play club volleyball as well so I played 2 years at the regional level and last season played for Capital Volleyball Academy, which is a national team out of Stoughton WI. We had practice 3 nights a week, which required a 150 mile round trip for me each night. During the same time, I was a captain and starting center for my high school basketball team, which qualified for the WIAA State Tournament for the first time in school history. I plan to play for CVA again for my final club season and continue to lead my basketball team to another state tournament my senior year.
I was a captain for my high school volleyball team both my junior and senior year. I have exceptional volleyball knowledge and continue to develop my skills each year. I was all-conference my junior year and was 4th in the state in Division 2 in Total Blocks and 2nd in the state in Solo Blocks. This year I finished with 3rd in Division 2 with 126 total block and 113 Solo Blocks (2nd in the state). Voted unanimous 1st Team All-Conference this past season!
I know that I will continue to develop as a volleyball player and will be an asset to any team that I get to play on.
