Personal Statement

My name is Emily Haas and I am from Pine Bluffs, Wyoming. Since 4th grade, I have always dreamed about becoming a college volleyball player. Now that I am older it feels like its becoming more and more real. I spend a lot of time on the road playing volleyball and the thing that keeps me going is the love of the game, and my goal of becoming a college volleyball player. I became interested in volleyball because many people in my family have played at the college level and I would like to continue the tradition.  I would say what makes me different from all of the other recruits is that I will always put in extra work to get to my goal and I believe volleyball is all a mental game and it takes a good mindset to play, and I believe I am that person because of all my hard work I have put in!
