I am 6’0” MB who just finished my college freshman season at Utah State University Eastern, a junior college in Price, Utah; and I am looking forward to a possible academic and athletic future at a four-year institution.
I am a 2021 graduate of Rock Springs High School in Rock Springs, Wyoming. While in high school I was a four-year varsity letter award winner in both volleyball and track and field. I was awarded volleyball all-conference my junior and senior years, and achieved all-state recognition my senior year. During my junior and senior year, I led the state (all classifications) in total blocks, and ended my senior season with over 150 kills. I also placed at the Wyoming state track meet, and I hold the Rock Springs High School high jump record, jumping 5’5.5”.
Throughout my high school, Club V (Ranked 38th nationally), and Utah State University Eastern (Ranked 8th JUCO DI) experience I have continuously improved my skills. I am relentless at the net. I have strong hands, sound transition footwork and eye work, and I can put the ball down anywhere. I am a hard worker and have a talent for bringing positive momentum and energy when I’m on the court, on the bench, and to every practice (even in the weight room!).
After only one academic year, I am set to graduate with my associate’s degree in May 2022. I would love to bring my associate’s degree, a year of junior college experience, and three years of eligibility to your program. As a member of your team I can guarantee you that I will set an example as the hardest working athlete in the gym. I am a fierce competitor as well as the ultimate team player. I pride myself on my ability to be adaptable and coachable.
I love learning whether it be in school or in sports, and I am excited to learn more about your program and how I may contribute to it.
