Caitlyn Sohm '25 Recruiting Profile

I started wrestling my freshmen year of high school, and my first year out I got fifth place in the Nebraska girls HWT inaugural state championship. To follow up with that my junior year, 2023-2024 season, I was the Nebraska state HWT champ. While wrestling in the offseason, in March I had a second degree MCL sprain which took me out of most physical activities and was unable to return to wrestling until the middle of May. I started wrestling as soon as i was cleared to which shows my love and dedication to the sport. Mu first ever freestyle tournament, I got second and qualified for Fargo. Academically, i have been on my school's honor roll the last three years, and i have been in National Honors Society since my sophomore year. I currently have a unweighted GPA 3.95 and weighted GPA of 4.10 and have been part of my school’s honor club since my freshman year.  I look forward to continuing my academic excellence and wrestling in college.
