Hello, I’m Isabella Bobadilla and the first person in my family to ever wrestle. I grew up in a very cultural home were you have to work for what you want. I have 2 step siblings, 2 brothers, and 1 sister. I know it seems like a lot, but I learned so much from each and everyone of them even though I’m the youngest. I believe I’m a great candidate for any team because I’m willing to put in work, show growth, show up, and I’m willing to create bonds with teammates and learn from everyone’s differences and make it represent our strength. I came into wrestling not knowing anything my sophomore year. But I fell in love and was intrigued in it all. The family bond, the strength, and the 100% effort you have to put in. My coaches taught me it’s okay to win or lose. But the next time you see that person or wrestle them again you’re gonna put up an even harder fight to win. I started from the bottom and worked myself up, and although I’m not at the very top, placing 6th in North regions my first ever year of wrestling felt amazing. It makes me want to drive farther and harder to succeed. I struggle but I had people along the way to pick me up like my best friends Mariah Koster and Gianna Faura both placing states Mariah placed 4th and Gianna 1st, but they were my inspiration to have fun and keep driving further into my goals. I want to make them, my siblings, my coaches, and my family proud. Hopefully through this paragraph you can see my ego and dedication/determination and if not I invite you to see me wrestle for my junior year. Thank you.
