Shaelie Young '25 Recruiting Profile

I have wrestled since 7yrs old and was the first female wrestler at my high school. I am a 3-sport athlete achieving letters in soccer, wrestling and softball. I earned Academic All-American honors as a freshman wrestler. After a successful freshman wrestling season, a late season injury threatened an early end to my sophomore campaign. The realization wrestling could be taken away in an instant strengthened my resolve to accomplish the goals my coaches and I set for me. I want to be part of a college program that is focused on academics as well as dedicated to strengthening women's wrestling. There is more to come from this student athlete.
