Michael Hartling '12 Recruiting Profile

My name is Michael Hartling and I am a senior attending and wrestling in high school in Colorado. I am5'8", currently 122 pounds, and I am quick on my feet. It has been my dream since I was young to continue wrestling for my entire life; it is my passion and joy. It's what gets me up early in the morning, and keeps me up at night. I would love to wrestle in college close to home, but not in-state. I want to travel to a different state for college and go to a college with a high level of competition, whether it be Division I or II or III. I just want to find a good college with a wrestling program that will challenge me and my abilities. Last year, as a junior, I qualified for our state tournament by taking 3rd place in the Regional tournament for 4A. My goal was just that last year, to qualify. This year I am looking to place in the top 5 in my weight at 4A in the state tournament.
