Nathaniel "Nate" Greene '22 Recruiting Profile

Athletics have been a part of my life since I was very young. Growing up from the age of 5 through middle school I played football. When I got to high school, I wanted to participate in another sport to initially help me with my primary sport of football. When I chose wrestling, I never thought I would fall in love with the sport like I have.  I feel like I truly have found my passion with wrestling. I love the grit and grind that wrestling demands from me in order to have success. I love the individual accountability in this sport. Win or learn, it starts and ends with me.

In both sports I have always strived to be coachable, committed and work as hard as I can to be the best me that I can at whatever I'm doing. I pride myself on constantly trying to soak up as much knowledge as I can to help me in honing my craft.   The culture around wrestling is and has been amazing and I would love to continue to stay a part of it.  I still love the game of football and would definitely be open to competing in both sports if it could help me in affording the cost to pursue a college education.

I love athletics, but ultimately this is about getting an opportunity to become a college graduate. Thanks for taking the time to look over my profile, I hope to hear from any coach who thinks I might be able to fill a need at their program.
