I am a 5'11" 160 lb. Junior wrestler from Crystal Lake, IL. I wrestled for the IKWF CL Wizards youth team for 6 years. Our team took third in the state duals.
I've started on the Crystal Lake South HS Varsity team for 3 years and served as co captain last season. I was an All Area Honorable Mention as a sophomore and Second Team as a Junior. I have a reputation of working hard in the wrestling room and my performance shows that. I went from not making it to Sectionals as a Freshman to being a State Alternate my Sophomore year and 3A State Qualifier as a Junior.
I'm considering a wide variety of schools that offer challenging academic and athletic programs. I'm not certain what major I want to pursue but the top ones that come to mind are Psychology, Law, or some sort of International Business and Finance degree.
Obviously, it would be nice to start as a Freshman, but I know I'll have to work for my spot on the team. I look forward to earning my way!
