I was the child of a single mother she would back me with anything positive Ii chose to do and a father that was really never there much. In sixth grade I was trying to find something to do to keep my focus and challenge myself. I tried out for the basketball team thinking that would be able to fill my interest and that did not work out. Then later heard about wrestling. I thought that would be something I might enjoy. I went home and told my mom about it and she liked the idea. That was the first year I ever tried wrestling and I did not win a single match but I never gave up and I got better throughout the years and hope to continue in the future.
Within my seven years of wrestling There were people who try to get me upset or to get rid of me but you have to stick with it and never give up with something you love.
I also have found out I was a much stronger than I thought both physically and emotionally. I have never felt I belonged anywhere I have always been picked on ever since I was little. My grandfather was a wrestler he and my mom were able to help me through the tough times. He and my love of wrestling made me strong emotionally and made me what i believe is a better person.
I want to continue my wrestling in college, and want to get a degree in Business.Perhaps have a business of my own one day. I am a person who thinks about every problem and tries to solve it. I always try to be the first one at practice and the last one to leave. I always try to learn more.
I consistently drive to go as far as it takes to be the best collegiate wrestling athlete. I believe in the good of people and hope that with the experience in college it will push me to become a smart and great wrestler.
I look forward to opportunities to improve my talents.
