Personal Statement

Hi, my name is Bryar Lane, and I have been wrestling since the 3rd grade.  From my very first practice, I was hooked. Wrestling became my home. I have always dreamed of wrestling in college. My Junior year was missed due to a medical reason. I have worked hard through adversity and have never given up on my dream.  I am a member of the Havana High School Student Athlete Leadership Team (S.A.L.T). I am also involved in our school's Marching Band, Pep Band, and Jazz Band. Playing the drums is another passion of mine. In my spare time, I am also an avid hunter and fisher. I love being in the outdoors.  I believe I have a lot to offer any college, not only in terms of wrestling but also as a student and leader.
