Hayden Wester '21 Recruiting Profile

My name is Hayden Wester. I’m 5’11”, 184 lb. I attend Boonville High School in Boonville, Indiana. Class of 2021. I have wrestled on the varsity team since freshman year. I currently wrestle at 182. This past season, our team had its best year in a long time. I started wrestling in the sixth grade and have been hooked since. I eat, sleep and breath wrestling. I currently hold a 3.4 GPA. My goal is to raise that to a 3.5 or higher. I am a three time Greco state placer and a four time Freestyle state placer. I wrestled for the Indiana National Team this past July. My coaches and parents have encouraged me to follow my dreams. I can’t thank them enough. This upcoming school year, I will be going to Southern Indiana Technical School half days for diesel technology. My plan after high school to attend college for diesel tech and to continue my wrestling career.
