Cody Anderson '19 Recruiting Profile

I love and respect the sport of wrestling.  I enjoy competing in meets and in the practice room and I want to keep learning, growing and improving in this sport.  I enjoy working with my teammates and coaches. They deserve so much credit for the success I've had so far and I want to keep striving toward the next level of competition. 

I have many short and long term goals, but ultimately I want to do whatever it takes to compete and win  NCAA championships, in addition to wrestling Internationally in either Greco, Freestyle or both.

Outside of the wrestling room, I enjoy watching videos of wrestling matches, fishing, running, and lifting. I also spend a lot of time with my family and am active in my Church, Grace West in West Des Moines, IA.

I enjoy school and currently have a cumulative 3.9 GPA in addition to already earning 10 college credits.  I plan on majoring in accounting and earning a job in that field once I am finished with wrestling.

I love fishing, being in the outdoors, and skiing in the mountains of Colorado.

I look forward to and am excited about competing in college, meeting my new coaches and teammates and facing the many challenges at this level.
