I have grown up with the sport of wrestling in my family my whole life, but growing up, i never gave it the thought that i would ever be a wrestler. I started wrestling in 7th grade, after basketball didn't work out, so pretty late in my life, but i enjoyed the challenge, and i never would have thought back then how much the sport would impact my life. I have always been a fast learner, which is why i have excelled academically, and athletically, and i have always loved pushing my body to the limit. all of this shows through my freshmen record of 23-23, to my sophomore record of 51-7. i went from dreaming of the state finals, to competing and ultimately placing, and being one of two all-Staters in the whole school, in any sport. I think i would make a good recruit because, i haven't reached my full potential yet. I am still learning and with my high school carrier coming closer to the end i want to be able to compete at the next level and continue to learn and grow. In both academics and athletics i understand the importance of hard work, and especially in wrestling because it isn't just a season, It is a lifestyle.
