Personal Statement
Being a student athlete has always been important to me. I have been going to school and have competed in a sport since I was 5. I started out with soccer, and then my dad introduced me to wrestling when I was 7, and started football when I was 8. I was taught to push my limits in all things, whether it be on the mat, classroom, or football field. I take it as a daily challenge to go further than the day before. My main goal as a college student athlete is to compete at a high level and win a national championship. I realize that I will have to fulfill smaller goals between now and then, but ultimately that is what I want to do as an athlete. I will push my teammates to get better and be a coachable student athlete. I will put the hours in that I will need both in the classroom and on the mat. I know it won't be easy but I am up for the challenge.
