I believe that my passion for wrestling is what keeps me focused, and on a path for success in all aspects of my life. I have been told that I am a student of the sport. I feel that this enables me to quickly identify areas of improvement and apply technique rapidly. As equally as important as wrestling is to me, so is my performance in the classroom. Over the past 3 years, I have been consistently on the honor roll and have maintained a 3.6 GPA. Additionally, I have been recently inducted into the National Honor Society. I try to conduct my life with a good balance between education and sport.
Wrestling since I was 5 years old has equipped me with the experience and dedication needed to compete at the highest levels. This past year, my Junior season, was my strongest yet. I was ranked 4th in the state of NJ at 138 lbs, was runner up in the South Super Region, and qualified for the state tournament for the second time in my High School career.
I believe that my talent continues to grow and that my best wrestling is still ahead of me. I am determined to keep working hard and moving forward to wrestle at the collegiate level.
