Anthony Foggia '16 Recruiting Profile

My name is Anthony Foggia and I am a junior at Northern Burlington Regional High School in New Jersey. I have been wrestling since I was 5 years old and loved it ever since. I have been to many different clubs, state and national tournaments, and duals throughout my wrestling career. Some of my high school accomplishments are: 2nd at Districts(2014), 2nd at Regionals(2014), a NJ state qualifier(2014), and 3rd at Iron Horse(2014). I was not able to wrestle my freshman year in high school due to the fact that I was too light for the weight class. My goals in high school for the next two years are to place/win at national tournaments and place/win at the NJ state tournament. My goals in college as a wrestler are to become a superior wrestler and a NCAA champion. I'm am looking for D1 and D2 colleges that are located in or around cities. If not located near a city I would still consider the school. The size of the college I would be looking for would be a medium or large sized school. I am also looking for a school with a good education. My goals academically are to learn and become a better student and role model and to find a great career straight out of college. In order to complete these goals I will continue to work hard everyday in the the classroom and in the wrestling room. I have been training year-round since I was 10 years old. My coaches know me as a hard worker who never gives up even when it seems impossible. I am a team player and never back down from a challenge that my coaches put in front of me. 

Off of the wrestling mat I am known as an outgoing, social, kind person that can get along with anybody. I am easy to talk to and there if you ever need a hand. Teachers and coaches often describe me as a nice student who works hard and can make them smile. What makes me different or special is that I am a talented student who works hard and I love to see myself succeed and become a better wrestler/role model.
