My name is Alex and I have been wrestling since I was 5 years old. I first started while also playing football and baseball and continued to do so up until my sophomore year, when I made the decision to go all in on wrestling. I did this simply because of how much love I have for the sport and is why I would like to continue my wrestling career in college while also pursuing academics. This past year I went through a lot of challenges to stay on the mat and unfortunately, I couldn’t wrestle in my regional tournament after making the finals in districts. For other people it might discourage them or make them want to give up, but all it did was motivate me and grow my love for the sport even more. In my matches I love to score, push the pace, and have fun. A big thing for me in my life is my faith and family. If I am ever anxious or feeling unconfident, I just put all my faith in God and go out on the mat and try my best.
