Keith Lemongello '12 Recruiting Profile

No matter  the outcome of any conflict, match, test or  situation,  I know I gave it my all. I am  driven and I never stop.  I  push myself to excel above my peak  performance. I enter every match with my head held high, knowing I'm going to give my best effort. The same concept applies when I work in and out of the classroom. I enter every challenge knowing I will come out with a positive result, regardless of the outcome.

 I am 5'10" and weigh 175 lbs., and cut down to 152 for the past 3 seasons. I placed second and third in NHSCA Freshman and Sophomore Nationals Tournaments. I am a district runner up and 2x champion. I placed second in Morris County my freshman year , 4th my sophomore year and 3rd my junior year.

My criteria may not be the greatest .Yet, I exceed in talent and skill everyday.  The practice room is where my accomplishments show. I work out with the most skilled and talented wrestlers in the state of NJ. In the practice room , I do not quit, stop or even take a breath for a moment if it means I have to stop working. I push myself past exhaustion, to the point where I can not stop.

As for my academics,  I love to learn.  Honestly, I enjoy being at school every minute I can be there. Learning fascinates me in every way.  My  favored subjects are math, business, and science.  I plan to major in some type of engineering and/or business. 

I am  goal oriented . Everyday, I meet new challenges  in the classroom and on the mat. I never sell myself short. This has been my joy in life, wrestling.  I have learned that winning is not always possible, and that defeat builds character.  Character in return, makes me the best person I can be.  I was a co-captain in sophomore year, I have always lead my team by my example.  The amount of dedication and work that is put into a sport, is what you will get out of it.  I encourage my teammates to go beyond their limits.  

I am interested in a quality education.  The size of the institution is irrelevent to me. I am partial to the east coast, yet, I am open to all opportunities.
