Jason Burklow '19 Recruiting Profile

I am an ambitious individual, who had to work hard and continue to work hard for all the great moments I experience in the sport of wrestling.  Throughout youth wrestling, I often competed with older and stronger opponents than me... simply because I was always big for my age.  During that period of time, I experienced a great deal of adversity and many defeats.  However, with a great group of coaches and support from my family... I never gave up!  The experience I've had with wrestling taught me perseverance and helped me realize how a strong work ethic will always produce good results, especially when you approach your goals with a positive attitude and remain true to the actions necessary to achieve them.  I look forward to finding a school and wrestling program that's the best fit for me to study Business, while continuing to compete in the sport I love.
