Alias Starkovich '16 Recruiting Profile

My goal is to participate at the collegiate level so that I can continue my education working towards a career in Political Science/Law.  I believe I would be a great asset to a program.  My current career record is 132-23.  I took third my Sophomore year and  second my Junior year (2014-2015) at the state championships.  I am highly coachable and love the art of wrestling.  I am good on my feet preferring off side singles; I can slide both sides of the tie.  My best position is top where I use cross wrist ties and turks. I always worked hard in every sport I participate in as well as in the classroom. I am a team leader but I also understand process and what role I play in programs.

 I was district 6 4A champion at 145 pounds in 2013-2014 and district 1 5A champion at 152 pounds in  2014-2015.  I set the school record in take downs. As a junior I took 2nd overall in the 5A state championships going 33-4 for the season as a 2 time district champ. I believe I have the skills needed to contribute to a collegiate program as a athlete and most of all a student.
