Dylan Fitzgerald '26 Recruiting Profile

I have been wrestling for almost a decade. With every match I am becoming a stronger wrestler, and since my senior year is next year, I don't want my wrestling career to end in high school. I want to go to college and study business and wrestle on the college team. I wrestle all year round. I am recipient of my wrestling programs Erik Schuth Off-Season Wrestler of the Year Award. I am very disciplined in developing my craft.  I am strong on my feet with shot defense, and I am aggressive on my takedowns. I stand out as a leader.  I lead by example and give positive reinforcement to my team and honest feedback.  I have been recognized as a leader for I am the recipient of the Hartley-Fitzsimmonds Leadership Award. I am coachable and often told I am the hardest worker in the room. When I am not in the wrestling room, I am in the weight room gaining strength and keeping committed to my athletic physique. Academically I study a lot and retain knowledge well to attain my high GPA.  I attend advanced placement courses for college credit, and I attend career technology education at a different school campus to learn residential and commercial electrical. I enjoy electrical very much and aspire to own my own electrical company someday. I want to attend a college that will better my wrestling skills and myself as a person.  I place a strong emphasis on my family values and hope to attend college where the wrestling team becomes my family away from home.
