Dimitri Gamkrelidze '20 Recruiting Profile

Hello my name is Dimitri and I joined the wrestling team my senior year of high school  but I had a very long background in judo taking 1st at nationals in 2019 and qualifying for the 2019 Cadet World Championships. Although I only joined my senior year I was able to adapt to the sport very quick and took second at the city championships at 152lb with a 32-5 record just missing out on state qualifications. My wrestling career has only just begun and I know if I spend more time on the mats my game will be way stronger. I am an extremely hard worker and I believe with the right coaching I could become a very successful wrestler.
