Anthony Finocchiaro '12 Recruiting Profile

I am a 5'6", 135 lb. wrestler from central New York going into my senior year. Currently, I am a three-time sectional champ, 5-time varsity starter, three-time All-American in the freshman, sophomore and Junior divisions and placed 3rd at the 2011 NYSPHSAA and placed 2nd at the NHSCA Nationals.  Ideally, I would like to attend a larger school with academic prestige in the New England, Mid-Atlantic or California region. I am currently interested in becoming a lawyer, like my father. However, I want to take a number of liberal art classes to get a better feel of different professional disciplines. I have wrestled nationally and internationally in Folk-Style, Greco-Roman and Free-Style. I believe I will be able to contribute to a University's athletic program with discipline and determination. I am eager to better learn the sport and I am resolved to improve each and every year I am given the privilege to wrestle.
