Cael Wellenstein '22 Recruiting Profile

Hi, this is Cael.  I aspire to wrestle at the collegiate level because I believe that I haven't realized my full potential as an athlete yet.  One look at my high school record and it is evident that each year I have improved.  During the pandemic , both on season and off-season, I worked with private coaches in my families barn in order to hone in on my fundamental skills to become a more competitive opponent.  I am coachable, respectful, I'm not afraid of hard work and I know that with the right coach and college I can be successful both with wrestling and obtaining my degree to become a teacher. I hope to give back to this sport that I love so much by becoming a teacher, mentor and wrestling coach in the future.
