Personal Statement

My goals and aspirations include wrestling at the collegiate level after a successful high school wrestling career.  I am highly self motivated and someone who works hard on and off the mat.  My school isn't considered a wrestling powerhouse so I find my way to coaches and practices on my own.  This summer I've been able to get some of my teammates to follow suite!  My teachers and coaches will tell you that I put 100% into everything I do.  I play football in the fall, but still work out and attend open mat and wrestling practices.  I know that staying in shape is the best way to become a better athlete.  It is not uncommon for me to double up on practices most days of the week.  I have maintained this schedule since Junior High all while keeping excellent grades.  I took honors math in Junior High and am have been taking honors history classes during high school.  I have recently enrolled in our Construction Electricity program at Penta High School and will start taking College Level Courses soon..  I use my time in class and study hall wisely so that I can spend my evenings and weekends doing what I love-WRESTLE.   When I'm not wrestling, I am spending time with my family, helping my Grandmother with the upkeep of her home, and volunteering for the organization my family runs; a baseball league for kids with special needs where I spend most Sundays in the summer volunteering for our organization.

NCSA COLLEGE RECRUITING®

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
