My interest in wrestling began when I was nine years old. The experiences with wrestling, both positive and negative, have helped me grow as a athlete as well as a individual. The high point in my career was making it to team states my sophomore year; however, the low point of my career was not making it to individual states. This experience made me more passionate and committed to preseason workouts and my wrestling goals. I have learned the importance of teamwork, unwavering dedication and I have become more driven to be a leader.
My goals in college include: Having a successful wrestling career at the D1 level, major in exercise science/kinesiology, then continue my academic career and get a degree in physical therapy. What makes me different from other recruits is my determination and mindset. Everyday I work to get better whether it’s in the wrestling room or classroom. I aspire to be the best version of myself.
