The career I would like to pursue after graduation would be an anesthesiologist. I have always been fascinated with the medical profession, but cutting people up and putting them back together again is a scary task. Being an anesthesiologist would give me all the perks of being a doctor without all the gore.
In order to become an anesthesiologist, I must maintain high grades in at least college preparatory courses (preferably Honors and AP) in high school classes such as Algebra, Geometry, Calculus, Statistics, Biology, Chemistry, and English.
Once I get my MD in Anesthesiology, I can open up my own practice, enter a partnership practice, or a group practice. I think I would like to find a position in a hospital. I could also teach or do research jobs with my experience.
As you see, I have goals and aspirations and I intend on reaching them no matter how much time and effort I have to put in to it. I show the same dedication with any sport that I am involved with, especially wrestling, my favorite. I train at school, with a club, and with a private instructor on a regular basis. I also weight lift at least 3 times a week. I also do track, football, and swimming (Lettered in 2013) - all help with cardio and endurance.
As a National Beta member, I have to uphold the standards of character, achievement, leadership and service. I am in the top 7% of my class, attend Honors and AP classes, have been nominated for student of the month, and rank among the top 10 for community service. I attend and participate in academic conferences, as well as attend regional, state, and national wrestling tournaments. I think I am a very well rounded young man and would be a huge asset to any college and wrestling team.
