My career goal is to earn my degree in biochemistry, bioengineering, or aerospace engineering. I feel balancing both academics and athletics is important and it drives my daily activities. I started my wrestling career 2 seasons ago and quickly caught on to the concepts and moves starting on Varsity my freshman year. I do believe having some Jiu-Jitsu experience and a military home life helped me in that. I want to learn and continue developing, knowing that there will always be more. I feel I would be a great fit at any college and in any wrestling room. I listen well, take feedback, and have been told that I'm very coachable. Throughout my season I've conditioned myself through wrestling, stronger people, and working vigorously in the wrestling room to better myself as well as my teammates. I come from a military family, mother is a retired Navy Chief Petty Officer and father is a retired Marine RECON Gunnery Sergeant, so structure has been a big part of my life. Being in Advanced Placement and Honors classes I understand the balance and the effort it takes to be a well-rounded athlete and student. Embrace the suck.
